Behind the Fan

Waiting Between Shadows

"A window without a voice, where time dripped slowly down the glass.
A child waited-
counting footsteps that never came, tracing hope in the distance with eyes too young to
know absence.
The world moved somewhere beyond the frame,
but here-
only silence learned her name."

From Ashes, She Chose Love

"At the edge of memory, a house still stands-
holding the moment everything shattered.
A broken car, a life divided, and the silence that followed her home.
But love never left. It lingered in shadows-
in the quiet guardianship of those who came before,
guiding her through the dark without a voice.
She walked through fire, found rhythm in the ruins, and let it carry her forward.
Until one day, her head could rest beside another, not in grief, but in peace.
This is the path she carved— from fracture to flame, from loss to love, from a broken girl to a woman who learned how to dance her life whole again."

Fire Within

"She no longer remembers the breaking-
only the rhythm that rebuilt her.
Fire lives in her now, not to destroy,
but to declare I am still here.
Every step strikes the past into dust; every turn gathers it into power.
What once left her shattered now fuels the blaze-and in its light,
she is not the girl who was hurt, but the woman who became untouchable."

Where She Learned to Fly

"Two faces rise from the same fire— one remembers the breaking; one learns how to burn
without disappearing.
From the ache, hands begin to open-not as wounds, but as wings.
In their arc, a new body is written not untouched but transformed.
She does not return to who she was— she becomes the echo made beautiful,
the fracture that learned to fly."
