Light Speaks
As a photographer I have always been fascinated with light and shadow. I really started noticing the way the sunlight was making these beautiful reflective patterns around my house. I felt compelled to start photographing them. In some of these images I put glass objects in the path of the sunlight to create almost three dimensional reflections. Each image has it's own unique lighting as they were taken at various times on different days. Within moments the light would shift and make a different pattern. I tried to capture the fleeting and magical essence of light in this body of work. This project was a turning point for my photography. I gained a new level of appreciation for light quality and it was the catalyst for future light based projects.
